A Guard-Heavy Group Across the League
The 7 guards range in height from Davion Mitchell at 6'0" to Ja'Kobe Walter and Keyonte George, both at 6'4", and VJ Edgecombe and Cameron Carr at 6'5". The 5 forwards include Jeremy Sochan at 6'8" and Royce O'Neale and Taurean Prince, both at 6'6". Yves Missi stands alone as the group's only center, and at 6'11" he's the tallest of all 13 players.
Because each player lands on a different team, there's no single franchise carrying a heavy Baylor presence — the Bears are distributed evenly across the league.
Birthplaces Span Several Continents
9 of the 13 players were born in the United States, with 4 born in Texas alone. The international contingent includes Yves Missi, born in Yaounde, Cameroon; VJ Edgecombe, born in Bimini, Bahamas; Norchad Omier, born in Bluefields, Nicaragua; and Jeremy Sochan, born in Milton Keynes, England.
Oldest and Youngest Baylor Alumni Active
Royce O'Neale, born Jun 5, 1993, is the oldest Baylor alumnus currently in the league. He wears #0 for the Charlotte Hornets and plays forward at 6'6". At the other end, VJ Edgecombe — born Jul 30, 2005 — is the youngest at 21, wearing #77 for the Philadelphia 76ers.
