HoopGuess is built to collect as little as possible. This page explains what does and doesn't happen with your data.
What we don't collect
HoopGuess has no account system, no sign-up, and doesn't ask for your name, email or any personal information to play. We don't sell or share any data with third parties for advertising.
Local storage (your browser only)
To remember your daily puzzle progress, guess history and win streak between visits, HoopGuess stores a small amount of data directly in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device or gets sent to us — clearing your browser data or using a different browser/device resets it.
Site analytics
We use a privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics tool to understand aggregate traffic (which pages are visited, roughly how many people play). It does not track you individually across other sites and does not build an advertising profile.
